Victor Milt started his career at the age of fifteen, producing beautiful portraits of children and adults. By the age of
nineteen, he had opened a storefront studio, which he ran while attending the prestigious art school, The Cooper Union, in
NYC. At Cooper he extended his artistic prowess into fine art, studying oil painting and watercolor.
He left the
portrait photography business when he turned twenty-two to pursue a career in fashion and industrial photography. His rise
to the top was rapid and within two years he was shooting still spreads for GQ, Ingenue, Vogue and Seventeen magazines. He
also did many covers for McCalls sportswear, Cover Girl magazine, and counted Villager fashions and Country Miss as regular
clients.
He continued his still career until the age of twenty-nine, at which point he moved into national TV commercial
production, delivering hundreds of commercials which have become American icons. Click Commercials on the top line to see
a small sampling.
He has recently returned to his still photography roots and is currently accepting a limited
number of portrait clients by appointment only.
